Well it has been awhile AGAIN since I wrote. But I'm trying hard to now keep up with running the business and having ummm...some kinda of personal life???

As the market continues to be slow, so does our rehab part of the business. We branched out and are now helping people with loan modifications and credit card resolution. Real happy about this as in these times, they are needed. So, I have done marketing, setting up websites, calling, posting, etc... You name it I think I done it. And now I need something to keep me busy but in the same time not take away my time from what I need to do for this business.

I started looking for a PT job. HAHAHA...Yeah I just want to do something to keep me busy and make a few bucks. I didn't think I would ever be told. "Umm your over qualified", or "Why do you want to do this job? You know what it pays right?"

Well enough of work. Now the fun part!!! Let's see, Masen turned 2 on Aug 12th and Jax turned 5mo on the 30th of Oct. (time flies!) But what was the highlight this past month was I got to take my grandson's over the weekend as Jess and Nick had a party to attend. This was the first time watching them both at the same time, overnight! They were great! But boy, do I give kudos to Jess and Nick. As I had Kevin helping me. Nick and Jess do this by themselves when the other is busy working or doing chores!

But I can't express the joy these two boys give me. Because we don't get to see them very often, we miss them like crazy and it's such a GREAT feeling that Masen feels the same! He now is giving the BEST Masen BEAR hugs! You can feel the love and sincerity behind this little boys hugs! He now has is calling me "Grmm" instead of "Mamma" which sounded too much like "Mama." And how is it fair that he learned to say "Papa" first and clear as a bell? ;-)

Because we don't have a crib or travel bed. Masen usually sleeps with Grandma and Papa. Well, being that four would be a bit tight, I took Jaxson into the spare room and Papa and Masen slept in our bed. It happened to be the night of thunderstorms and Masen woke up stirring, perched up in the the dark on all fours, put his forehead up against Papa's, looked him straight into his eyes then grabbed his neck and put his arm around Papa and fell asleep sharing Papa's pillow. Awww, I wish I saw that! but just as cute the next morning, as Kev retold me the story with a smile so big on his face and his heart bursting. He loves his grandson ;-)

Jaxson is so much like his brother, but has his own personality. He's the only baby I know that instead of crying from being startled by the cold butt wipe while getting his diaper changed, actually starts to giggle and laugh just before I wipe his little behind! It's so adorable. He knows it's coming and just starts giggling. Then so happy he is dry and clean. He is developing into his own little person and I just love it!
I'm asked all the time if Masen is jealous of his little brother. I have never seen such love come from a sibling that is so young, and having it show so purely and so heart felt.
As I drove the two boys from Roseville, which is a 1 1/2 hour drive. They both did so great. As we got real close to home, Jaxson started to wine a little. I looked into my rear view mirror to glance at Masen reaching over and comforting his little brother. Holding his hand and saying "Jax, Jax." Reassuring his brother that he was there and all is ok. Masen also helps me feed Jax his bottle with so much concern, making sure the milk is getting into his tummy. His eyes never leaving Jax's face while feeding him. Sooo cute. Jess tells me Masen is like this always with Jax. I'm getting a lump in my throat as I type...

In conclusion, after that weekend, I want to try my best for our business to work out. As I spent so much time working I missed a lot of family time the first go around. I want to be here for my family when then need me! Or is it, I need them? Yeah, ok a little bit!

Well it has been...um mm too long to say when I last wrote. Our business has taken a slow route, due to the worse real estate market we have seen in years! But on the other hand we did find ways of helping others in the current market. Our company is named KEY Property Solutions, and that is what we offer, solutions...

While waiting for rehabs, we are helping with loan modifications and credit card debt resolutions. The same affiliates we work with along with a team of lawyers are helping get this done. Find out more at our website:

Now the fun part! Masen Bear turned 2 August 12th! WOW, where did our baby grandson go?
He had a wonderful birthday last weekend. All decked out with his new favorite Disney pals the crew from Cars! Awww, he's a big Disney fan already and Grandma is lovin it!

I can't believe I have been "self-employed" over 2 months now. I have been busy as ever getting our new business up and running. YEAH! Almost there!

I have to admit my age has crept up on me fast. I thought the first kicker was getting my new...Yes, Bi-focals! At least they are no-line and people can't tell. Well I just gave that away didn't I? ;-) As I was saying, my age has kicked in and I feel the aches and pains after sitting at my desk for hours. But it will soon pay off. We are ready to launch and buy our first property! I'll keep you posted! I also updated our website, which is still under construction.

My darling "monkeys" aka: Masen and Jaxson, have been growing faster than I realize. While I've been busy here, Jess has been doing a great job raising her boys. I'm very proud of her. Masen has adjusted better than we had hoped. We all knew he is a lovey boy, but when Jess tells me and posts stories on how much Masen loves Jaxson. I simply melt!

One story in particular, Jess was telling now when Jaxson let's out a little "don't forget I'm here cry," Masen will run over put his little face in front of Jaxson, and talk to him. Jaxson coos back at his big brother with love. Another story is when I was visiting them a few weeks back, I was getting Masen out of the car. He automatically reached over to his little brothers car seat and put his arm on him, turning to me me and saying "baby?" I assured him that I wasn't going to leave his little brother in the car. He was then relieved and got of of the car with me. I just see the two being the best of buds growing up. Kudos to you Jess for raising Masen with such love!

Below are pics of Big Brother Masen loving his Little Brother Jaxson. The second picture is they were napping and Jaxson was waking up, Masen reached over, started rubbing Jax's arm and put them both back to sleep!

Jay has been busy working TWO jobs. He has been trying to catch up on his bills and wants to start to save. I'm very proud that he is thinking about "saving." So while still working at the Accounting firm, he has also pitched in to help my brother and sister-in-laws business, as their business picks up. But I do miss him, even though he has moved back with us, we barely see him. I'm blessed ever so often, when he can join Kevin and I, for nice sit down dinner.

And my hubby Kevin, continues to fly and come home and help me work on our business on his days off. Bless his heart! But I have to admit that it's a double edge sword having him fly and me being self employed. I so want to take off and travel with him. That will all come in time he promises me. At least we are going on a weekend trip to LA this weekend! Wheee a little beach time.

In closing, there has been to much time gap in seeing our friends. We promise to try and do better. A bowl of Pasta, Wine and goodtimes is all it takes! Life is too short and times a wastin!
I'll be calling soon! ;-)

I can truly say that I'm just as busy if not more, starting our new business venture! As for friends or family that have not known what Kev and I have been up to, let me bring you up to speed.

Kev and I have been contemplating remodeling houses as a side business for about 3 years now. We have been doing projects on the side, including our entire remodel of our condo. Whewww, that was fun! Let's say I have a great deal of respect for any construction project. I later "earned" my own pink tool belt one Valentine's Day from my hubby! I know you'd have to know the stories of Kev's belt falling to my ankles to appreciate the gift!

Anyway with Kev's construction and business background, mine in sales and let's say a strong desire for working hard, ummm let see...FOR US! (I had been unhappy with my job for a few years now) We decided to take the bull by the horns and go for it! With Kev still with Virgin America and his strong support and belief in me (thank you honey!) I quit my job after a 15 year career in Sales. SCARY!

Now we are almost ready to launch. Our company is KEY Property Solutions, LLC the KEY is for Kevin and Elaine Young ;-) yeah that was me...Our website is http://www.kpshomesonline.com/.

What do we do? Well we didn't become rich and have all this money to buy houses! We are not holding mortgages! We are being back by strong financial lenders. and will be basically buying and selling distressed properties, rehabbing and selling right away. NO, we are not doing the work ourselves. We want to own a "business" not a "job"

I have been busy working on our new website, data base, blog, ads, interviewing contractors, etc...But LOVING it all the way. I have high hopes for this and will want to pass the business down to my kids to take over one day. I'll try and keep you posted as we continue with our new endeavor!

Ok, so I've started this blog because I wanted to share stories with friends and family! Jess will be the first to give me a bad time about it, but I figure instead of forwarding her blogs to everyone, I can tell my side of the story. Love you, Daughter! ;-)

Well, he's here! Jaxson Cash blessed our lives on April 30th, at 5:27 AM. Jess called me at 2:30 AM. Call it mothers intuition or something, but I had woken up and went the kitchen to get a glass of water, I returned to bed and the phone rang! I knew it had to be her. I threw on the sweats I had at the end of my bed and made the one and a half hour drive to Roseville. Thank goodness for adrenalin rushes, because that's what kept me awake for the drive. ;-)

I arrived at the hospital and Jess and Nick were in triage as the nurse checked Jess in. As a mom who had done this twice, along with the look on my daughter’s face, I knew it was not going to be very long before she delivered. At close to 5:00 AM, I left to pick up Masen, who was with Nick's mom at their place (who was sleeping like an angel, and got up in a cheery mood to see both his grandma's there… heart melting!) As I explained to Nick's mom, Jess was progressing at a fast pace. I told her that we'd be lucky if we made it back in time. Well, what do you know, moms are right at times! We went to go in Jess' room and we were shoved back into the hall by the nurse! "NO, you can't come in now, she's pushing!"

As Lily and I went back to the waiting room and waited about 20 minutes, we paced the floor and played with Masen. But we both knew he arrived! As we walked back down the hall we heard the cries of Jaxson!

As you can see Masen loves his new little brother!

Just look what we got! He's an absolute angel! (ok so I' a little bias!)
